Your ranked albums and songs will be assigned points using the following formula: Wildcard points = (Yearly points)/(number of ballots) At the end of the 10 yearly polls, the top 50 of the 100 candidates will qualify for the finals based on a new wildcard point system: Keeping with recent tradition, the top 10 albums and songs from each year will automatically qualify for the final, and albums and songs in the 11-20 range will become eligible to be "wildcard" entries. What will remain the same is that I will ask you to post ranked lists of your favorite albums and songs of each year. Next up will be your favorite albums and songs of 1982, the greatest year of all time!Ī few things remain the same with the decade poll, and a few things will be different.
